Bridging Innovation and Practice: 2025 International Conference on Digital Healthcare
The 2025 International Digital Healthcare Conference, co-hosted by the Taiwan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP) and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, successfully brought together healthcare leaders from Taiwan and around the world on March 22 to explore the evolving landscape of digital health. The conference opened with welcoming remarks from Ms. Sun, Director of the Pharmacy Department at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, who emphasized the growing importance of digital innovation in clinical pharmacy and patient care.
Spotlight on Innovation: Global and Local Perspectives
The keynote speaker, Mr. Francois Barbé works as the Head of Sanofi Commercial Pharma in Hong Kong, provided a global overview of how digital healthcare is reshaping systems in Germany, France, the U.S., Japan, and Taiwan. He highlighted advancements in AI-assisted clinical decision-making, digital therapeutics for chronic disease management, and diverse reimbursement models. Mr. Francois Barbé also introduced cutting-edge applications of AI, such as chatbots that support breast cancer patients and tools that simplify medical information to improve patient understanding.
Following him, Ms. Eunseo Lee of Health2Sync presented Korea’s progress in digital therapeutics. Her presentation focused on the integration of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) in managing conditions such as diabetes, sleep disorders, and tinnitus. She also discussed various digital therapeutics currently in development in South Korea, including both government-led initiatives and private sector innovations. Korea’s experience offers valuable insights into how digital solutions can be applied in clinical practice.
Dr. Ju-Ying Jiang, Attending Physician in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, provided a comprehensive overview of Taiwan’s digital health landscape. She introduced “Insultrate”, Taiwan’s first digital therapeutic product, which supports patients in adjusting insulin doses safely and confidently. Dr. Jiang also discussed the role of big data, telemedicine, and the challenges posed by Taiwan’s National Health Insurance system.
The conference concluded with a dynamic panel discussion featuring all the speakers, joined by guest panelist Mr. David Yeh, Digital Innovation and Strategy Manager at Sanofi. The panel explored important topics such as reimbursement strategies, clinical adoption, and the future of digital health in Asia.
This conference highlighted the critical role that pharmacists play in advancing digital care and demonstrated how technology continues to shape and improve patient outcomes.

2025年數位醫療國際研討會-創新與實務連結
由臺灣臨床學會與亞東紀念醫院於3月22日共同主辦的「2025年數位醫療國際研討會」，特邀請國內外相關醫療人員及專家們共同探討數位醫療的演變格局。會議以亞東紀念醫院藥學部孫淑慧主任的歡迎致詞拉開序幕，孫主任特別強調數位創新在臨床藥學和病人照護中日益增長的重要性。
聚焦數位創新：全球與在地的視角
首位專題演講者-香港賽諾菲Francois Barbé處長從全球角度先概述數位醫療如何重塑德國、法國、美國、日本和台灣的醫療體系，他強調以人工智慧來輔助臨床決策、慢性病管理的數位醫療及多樣化醫療保險模式的進步；演講中說明人工智慧在尖端醫療的應用，例如支援乳癌個案的聊天機器人、簡化醫療資訊介面以提高病人對疾病的理解與認知。
隨後，現任職於Health2Sync的Eunseo Lee女士介紹韓國在數位醫療領域的進展，同時說明整合性軟體-SaMD在糖尿病管理、睡眠障礙和耳鳴等疾病照護的應用；另外，她提及韓國目前正在開發各種數位醫療方式，包括政府主導的措施和私營部門的創新模式，透過韓國的數位醫療經驗分享，可讓聽眾們學習到如何將數位醫療解決方案應用於臨床實踐。
亞東紀念醫院新陳代謝科江珠影醫師分享臺灣多種數位醫療健康照護模式，特別介紹首款數位醫材產品-Insultrate，糖尿病個案可透過這項軟體獲得更加安全且自信地調整胰島素使用劑量，而且醫療團隊可以即時瞭解個案用藥狀況及反應；江醫師說明醫療大數據的應用與遠距醫療的重要性，深入討論數位醫療發展對全民健康保險制度帶來的挑戰。
綜合討論除所有演講嘉賓外，更邀請賽諾菲藥廠數位創新和策略經理David Yeh先生參與線上座談，透過線上問答讓大家能更瞭解數位醫療、保險策略、臨床應用及亞洲數位健康的未來等重要議題。本次研討會強調藥師在推動數位醫療照護方面可發揮的關鍵作用，並展示數位科技如何持續改善個案治療的預後。
