Two vacancies on the Executive Committee of the Community Pharmacy Section (CPS):
These positions are to be filled during the virtual meeting of the CPS Steering Committee on Thursday, 14 August 2025(exact time to be confirmed).
These vacancies arise as Prof. Sarah Dineen-Griffin (Australia) will have completed her term of office, and Mrs Leticia Caligaris (Uruguay) will complete her term after having served as Professional Secretary/Treasurer since 2024.
According to the Statutes, members of the Executive Committee must be from different countries. You can find the nationalities of the current ExCo members here: https://www.fip.org/community-pharmacy
Members of the Executive Committee are elected by the Steering Committee for a four-year term and may be re-elected once.
We kindly invite your association to nominate a candidate for one of the two open positions.
To do so, please submit your nomination to the Secretariat (email: communitypharmacysection@gmail.com) no later than 31 July 2025.
Each nomination must include the following documents in English:

A short biography (maximum one A4 page)

A personal statement from the candidate (maximum two A4 pages) outlining their expected contribution to the CPS

A letter of support from the nominating FIP-CPS Member Organisation

Please note: candidates must be individual members of FIP and of the CPS at the time of nomination. It is expected that any expenses incurred by elected representatives be met by the nominating organisation or through private arrangements. The CPS does not assume responsibility for financial reimbursement.
The Executive Committee generally meets three times per year — twice in conjunction with the annual FIP Congress (before and after), and once during a two-day Midyear Meeting (February/March).
All ExCo members are expected to actively contribute to the professional activities of the Section, including the planning and implementation of Congress sessions, educational events, and working group initiatives.
