Levofloxacin 屬於fluoroquinolone 類抗生素，廣泛的被用來治療呼吸道及泌尿道感染，levofloxacin 是一個安全有效的抗生素，病患接受度高且副作用少。本文敘述一位疑似使用levofloxacin 而產生急性肝毒性的案例，病患最後因肝衰竭及多發性骨髓瘤合併肺炎而死亡。
 

Levofloxacin  is  a  fluoroDuinolone antibiotic  widely used  for  the  treatment of respiratory infections and urinary tract infections. Levofloxacin rs generally well tolerated and has fewer reported adverse effects. We present a case of levofloxacin-associated  acute  heparotoxicity.  Finally,  the  patient dead  due  to  hepatic failure.
