【原著】專業間教育—醫學生進行藥師工作跟隨體驗之執行模式與成效分析
Interprofessional Education: The Implementation and Outcomes of Pharmacist Shadowing for Medical Interns

目的:專業間教育能增進不同職系間的相互瞭解,奠定未來跨領域團隊合作的基礎,藥師工作跟隨體驗是為了使醫學生瞭解藥師的工作內容,為未來成功的醫藥合作做準備。本文將分享此教育活動的執行模式與四年的成果分析。

方法:以進入本院實習的醫學系七年級生為對象,在職前訓練中安排半日的藥師工作跟隨體驗。活動的第一部分為「藥事作業認知」,針對醫師可能與藥師接觸之相關業務進行課程說明;第二部分則為「實地跟隨體驗」,帶領醫學生至藥劑部內不同單位,實地觀看並解說藥師的工作內容。在活動前後以李克特五點量表問卷評估成效。

結果:統計2015 年至2018 年間,共152 位醫學生參與,累計150 份有效問卷。在經過第一部分的課程後,醫學生對於藥事作業的認知從課前的2.89 分進步到4.44分(非常不清楚1 分;非常清楚5 分),而經過第二部分的跟隨體驗,醫學生對於藥師提供的藥事服務能力的認同度從3.81 分進步到4.58 分(非常不同意1 分;非常同意5 分)。整體活動滿意度則為4.55 分(滿意4 分;非常滿意5 分)。

結論:醫學生參與藥師工作跟隨體驗後,對於藥師的臨床角色與藥事服務的內容均有進一步的瞭解。透過此一教學活動,能增加醫藥間的溝通合作與同理,希望有助於未來成功的跨領域合作照護。

Objective: To understand the function and role of different professionals in medical teams is among the objectives of interprofessional education (IPE). For medical interns, shadowing pharmacists is intended to prepare them for physician-pharmacist collaboration in the future. We report the experience and 4-year outcome of this activity.

Methods: We arranged half a day of shadowing of pharmacists for medical interns during the medical interns’ orientation training. First, routine pharmacy works were introduced, focusing on the services that physicians utilize or participate in. Subsequently, the interns visited the various sections of the pharmacy department to experience the daily work of pharmacists. Pre- and post-activity questionnaires scored using 5-point Likert scales were employed to evaluate the outcomes.

Results: From 2015 to 2018, 152 interns participated in this activity, and 150 questionnaires were returned. The mean score for recognition of pharmacists’ work increased from 2.89 points pre-activity to 4.44 points post-activity (1 = very unclear; 5 = very clear). The mean score for agreement with whether pharmacists were competent also rose from 3.81 pre-activity to 4.58 points post-activity (1 = strongly disagree; 5 = strongly agree). Satisfaction with the activity was 4.55 points (4 = satisfied; 5 = very satisfied).

Conclusions: Shadowing pharmacists increased the recognition of pharmacists’ services among medical interns. By performing this pedagogical activity, the medical interns learned about the role and responsibility of pharmacists in the medical team. We believe it would be helpful to implement effective interprofessional practice in the future.
