Daunorubicin 為anthracycline 類抗腫瘤藥品，主要用於血液癌症的治療。除噁心嘔吐、骨髓抑制、掉髮和口腔潰瘍，一般常見化學治療副作用外，還存在令人困擾的心臟毒性問題。Anthracycline 類導致的心臟毒性，可以分為急性和慢性兩種。急性心臟毒性，為可逆且罕見的。慢性心臟毒性主要和累積劑量有關，為常見但不可逆的心臟傷害。本文報告一位病患於使用daunorubicin，二星期後發生急性心臟毒性，並於治療後症狀獲得改善。藉此案例提醒臨床醫療人員，使用此類藥品時需要提高警覺，小心監測臨床不尋常的徵兆，避免對患者造成嚴重的傷害。

Daunorubicin, one of anthracyclines, is used in the treatment of hematological cancer. Besides general side effects of chemotherapy, including nausea, vomiting, bone marrow suppression, hair loss and oral ulcers, there are some troublesome side effects -- cardiac toxicities. Anthracyclines-induced cardiac toxicities could be divided into acute and chronic types. Acute cardiac toxicities are rare and reversible. Chronic cardiac toxicities are more often than acute cardiac toxicities, dose-limited and irreversible. This case report was about daunorubicin-induced acute cardiac toxicity after 2 weeks of doxorubicin therapy. The adverse effects relieved after intensive care. Reminding clinical care-givers should monitor closely and be more observant about the adverse effects when administrating anthracyclines by this case report.
