Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a rare disease worldwide. According to the database of National Health Insurance Administration Ministry of Health and Welfare, the prevalence of MS has been reported an increasing trend in Taiwan. The objective of this article is to introduce an update information on the epidemiology, types, symptoms and management of multiple sclerosis.
