在口試中,針對不同的變項進行後測成績分析,包含是否為PGY(post-graduate year training,二年期新進藥師)、性別、年資,皆無顯著差異,研究顯示藥師特質不影響口試成績。

Objective: This study aimed to understand the learning effects on pharmacists receiving instructions on anticoagulant medication. This study aimed to deepen the knowledge of hospital pharmacists on precautions related to anticoagulant agents and evaluate their patient health education skills by exploring the quality of medication guidance provided by them.
Methods: Learning assessments were designed using both written and oral examinations. The test participants were pharmacists serving at Hsinchu City Hospital, and the assessments were conducted from December 2020 to April 2021. Data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. The pharmacists underwent four courses on the following topics: principles of anticoagulant medication, interaction between patient health education knowledge and anticoagulant medication, how to connect warfarin and new oral anti-coagulant medication, and anticoagulant medication discontinuation after surgery.
Results: In the written exam, the pretest and weighted posttest grades of the four courses were significantly different, and the mean of the weighted posttest grades was higher than that of the pretest grades (p < 0.05). In the oral exam, posttest grades were analyzed against different variables, including postgraduate year training (2-year training for new pharmacists), sex, and job tenure; however, there were no significant differences. This led us to conclude that pharmacist characteristics did not affect the performance in oral examinations. The satisfaction survey results showed no significant differences between the four courses, indicating that there was no difference in the students’ satisfaction with teaching of the four courses, and the median total score was 25. Researchers have found that students’ satisfaction with teaching is very high.
Conclusions: There was a significant overall learning effect on the pharmacists after undergoing the four courses on anticoagulant medication, as indicated by a significant increase in posttest grades as compared to pretest grades. Pharmacists reported high levels of satisfaction with the teaching of the four courses.
